We received this amazing bed from Washabelle a few months ago! You can read my review of the bed: here. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Gracie’s new bed. Our favorite part is that you can WASH IT! I wanted to update my Washabelle Review because when I wrote it, we had not washed the bed yet. I’ve been getting tons of questions about how you actually wash it, so here we go!
Washabelle recommends washing your bed every three months or so. Well, we decided to do it sooner because we have all had the stomach flu at the house, and we are ready to get rid of the germs!!!!
The Washabelle Mattress is EXTREMELY easy to wash.
Simply unzip and wash the components separately in your washer and dryer as needed. Just don’t use bleach and do not use watching machines with agitators! We have front loaders, and they worked perfect!
The bed has 6 layers. You can wash all of them but 1. This is SOOO helpful, because sometimes you only need to wash the cover and one layer.
When washing the layers, use COLD water.
When drying the layers, tumble dry on LOW.
It’s that simple. Zip it all up, and you’re good to go!
