I love having a girl! I think I was made to be a “girl mom”. What’s funny is that I, myself, am not overly girly. I don’t spend hours on hair and makeup, I actually don’t love shopping, and I’d much rather wear workout clothes than real clothes. lol! But when it comes to Gracie, I LOVE getting her all dressed up. It’s so fun. I like shopping for her more than me. And my favorite accessory for her is headbands + bows! I LOVE them. I think they look so cute on her (but what doesn’t?). And I love finding new shops that make unique headbands + bows. One of my favorites is Mint Feather Co.

What I love about Mint Feather Co. is her unique fabrics and patterns. They are so dainty and girly, but aren’t your typical pink glitter bows. They are feminine without being overly “girly” if you know what I mean. Just look at these gorgeous headbands!

They are so beautiful! And they can be made with nylon (seen above) or just on a clip! The nylon is super comfy and fits most every baby. The bows are soft so they don’t dig into baby’s head, which is great. And they are handmade, but very WELL made. Love them!!

Here Gracie is modeling the Big Lace bow from their Charlotte set. I’m obsessed with this bow!

Little Miss Jane

I love sharing my favorite shops with you guys! Today’s shop is Little Miss Jane. I fell in love with Little Miss Jane’s clothing when I found her shop on instagram. Little Miss Jane was started by Karissa, a mom of 2 girls. She started Little Miss Jane after her first daughter was born. She started with bows but now does everything from bubblegum necklaces to dresses and embroidered shirts. Guys, everything Karissa makes is amazing! I love knowing it is all handmade, and made with love.

Gracie recently became a brand rep for Little Miss Jane and was sent the Cinderella Maid Dress from the Everyday Princess Collection. How gorgeous are these dresses?!

I’m just in love with this dress. I love it because it can totally be dressed up to look like the cinderella maid costume. But it also is just a cute dress that can be worn with anything! It’s super comfortable, easy to get on and off Gracie and fits perfect.

Little Miss Jane also makes an adorable Minnie Mouse Dress, too!

Everything in Little Miss Jane’s shop is adorable. Another one of my favorites is this cute pink romper. I just love how unique each piece is. You are not going to find creations like these anywhere else. And to know you are supporting a mom of 2 girls when you purchase something from Little Miss Jane, that’s the best part!

I highly recommend Little Miss Jane if your looking for a one of a kind outfit for your daughter. Not only that, but these custom creations make the best baby shower or first birthday gifts!

PawdPet Review

I’ve recently stumbled upon a great product that I thought my Graceful Mommy fans would love to hear about! This product is called PawdPet. Its a huggable, snuggly, stuffed animal that acts as an phone or tablet carrier. Gracie is only 10 months old so she doesn’t watch too much TV, but we do occasionally put on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or YouTube songs on for her to watch.

PawdPet comes in 4 different animals: an owl, fox, koala, and bunny. We received Mr. Hoots (the owl) from PawdPet. I think the owl is so cute! Any kid would love this. They are cute, huggable and super soft. Which is perfect for protecting your iPhone, iPod, or iPad (were an Apple family, can you tell?).

The PawdPet comes with a magnetic strip that you peel off and place on the back of your device. The device magnetically attaches to the belly of the stuffed animal so your child can watch shows or movies handsfree! You can put the PawdPet standing up tall or on it’s side!

Another really cool feature about PawdPet is there is a phone/tablet holder on the back of it! It has a buttoned, plush padded back pocket that stores your phone or tablet when your child is not using it! The back button is also magnetic so you know your device is safe in there. PawdPets also have adjustable straps on them so your child can easily carry it around! This is perfect for outings, trips + adventures!

While Gracie doesn’t really play on the phone or iPad yet, we definitely have used the PawdPet with her. She uses it as a cuddly toy to play with and snuggle. We hide things in the back pocket for her to find. Sometimes we will stand it up with a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episode on! She really does love it. My favorite part is that the phone is magnetic. That means she can’t pick up my phone and chew on it (like she does with everything). The phone really is stuck, and she can’t pull it off. It’s a very strong magnet!

I think PawdPet is a great invention. It’s really great for older kids, especially in the car and for traveling!
