Since I am 30 weeks pregnant, I am constantly evaluating what I am putting in my body + ON my body. So when Wendy started talking to me about this new makeup Young Living has, I was instantly hooked.
The makeup that is being sold at stores like Target, Walgreens, and Sephora is FULL of harmful chemicals + products including parabens, talc, bismuth, LEAD, mercury, and mineral oil. It’s actually pretty disgusting that they are even aloud to sell those things.
I should always be conscious of what’s going on my body, but I think I am extra sensitive + heightened to it lately because I am pregnant + want to make sure I am only doing what’s best for the baby. What I LOVE about Savvy Minerals
+ My favorite thing EVER about this line is the misting spray. At first when I opened this, I thought it was one of those sprays you spray on your face after you do your makeup to “set” it. But NO- you actually spray a few pumps onto your makeup brush before you pick up the mineral makeup. This is a game-changer! The spray helps give the foundation more coverage + helps nourish and freshen the skin. It’s amazing.
+ The foundation. Ahhh.. this foundation is the best. It’s super easy to put on – just sprinkle a bit in the lid, use your brush (with the misting spray) to circle a few times in the lid and blend into skin. What I love is that if you need more coverage, you just repeat this until you build the perfect foundation. I have really sensitive skin and I swear this actually has helped my skin. My complexion feels brighter after wearing this.
+The Diamond Dust – Omg this stuff rocks. It’s a veil that you apply after your foundation and it helps to bring highlight to the skin. It also helps blur blemishes and wrinkles while giving the skin an airbrushed look. I LOVE this. At first, I thought it might make my face look glittery, but it really works magic. It’s my favorite step.
+The Savvy Brushes- These brushes are SO high quality + they feel incredible on the skin! I love how each brush has a set purpose – and it’s labeled right on the brush. I need that because I used to only use one brush for everything just because I would get confused with all the different sizes LOL.
+ The lipgloss! I never wear lipgloss. It dries my lips out like instantly. But this one actually MOISTURIZES. And the color is PERFECT.
Would I recommend it?
Well, considering I’ve already recommended it to tons of people… YES – I would recommend it in a heartbeat. Throw all your other makeup away because you don’t need any of it anymore. This makeup is all you need + it’s good for your skin. You don’t have to worry about the toxins sitting on your face all day.

My Other Favorite Young Living Product
Thieves household cleaner. Holy moly. Want your house to smell like Christmas? You’ve got to try this cleaner. It seriously cleans almost anything and it smells sooooo good. Once again, I am pregnant + have been super careful with what I clean with. Wendy let me try a sample of the Thieves Cleaner + I am hooked for life. I love using this on our windows + glass. It works great in the bathroom. You can also use a capful in the washing machine or dishwasher! For most all-purpose cleaning, dilute 30 parts of water to 1 part of Thieves Household Cleaner. That breaks down to one 64 oz bottle of Thieves Household Cleaner concentrate = about 128 all-purpose spray bottles (30 oz. each) for about 88 cents a bottle. That’s cheaper than most all-natural cleaners on the market.
