It’s been just about three months as a mom of two. I feel like I haven’t even quite wrapped my head around being a mom in general, and now here I am with TWO. Sometimes, I feel like I am still in high school – still young + not totally sure of life yet. I still feel like I should come home and my mom has dinner ready for me. Anyone else ever get feelings like that? Anyways, it’s finally hitting me that I am a mom. A mom of TWO. It’s beautiful + I love every second. But I am still growing. I am still learning + figuring out this new role. Just like my kids. We’re growing together.

Donovan is starting to hit those exciting milestones. He’s almost 3 months old so he’s starting to sleep longer stretches + smile a lot! He also rolled over from his belly to his back the other day! As he hits these milestones, I’m growing, too! Gracie’s hitting milestones of a different kind. Hers are more of the profound, heartwarming kind. Like starting to interact and show deep love for her brother. When she started doing this, I started to become so proud of the girl she’s growing up to be.
As Donovan and Gracie go from strangers to friends, Dave + I start to see our family in a whole new way. It’s beautiful.
Can’t wait to watch Donovan + Gracie keep growing! So thankful for Carter’s and their amazing cute clothes for growing kids!
