I’m so excited to share some photos from our Annual Cookie Bake-A-Thon! Every year, we come together as a family to celebrate a day full of cookies and fun. Ever since I was a kid, and I think even since my mom was a kid, we’ve been baking Christmas cookies. We still use one recipe that my grandma used to make: the chocolate chip. Now that Gracie is old enough to participate (and even try the cookies!), this tradition takes on a whole new meaning for me! We had so much fun!
Here are Gracie’s Grandmas hard at work scooping chocolate chip cookies onto the pans!
Auntie Kaity (Gracie called her tata) has also been adopted into the annual cookie baking day! See those peppermints and hershey kisses in front of us? Every year we have a race to see who can open them the fastest! So fun. Kaity won the peppermint challenge. I won the hershey kiss one.
It takes a lot of supplies on our cookie day.
Here’s my mom and I in our christmas aprons! I’m so thankful for my mom (+ dad!) for always having traditions growing up. They made every season so much fun. Now I have things that I’m passing down to Gracie and it just makes life SO sweet!
We baked ALLLLLL day. From 1 to like 6, I think. When we finally finished our recipes, it was dark outside! It truly is an all day event.
