This is such a busy time of year. A good kind of busy. I’m still finishing up Christmas shopping, decorating, and crafting. I’m also working like crazy to finish things for the year! And to top it all off – it’s football season! Talk about BUSY! But I love it all. It’s such a fun season.
There is no better way to get ready for the next big game or this time of year than with an amazing healthy snack filled with protein. My favorite go-to snack is the Dannon® Oikos® Triple Zero yogurt from Publix. I work from home (with two kids!) and it’s so important that I keep nutritious snacks on hand. Dannon Oikos is a staple in my fridge. And whoa, did you know? Dannon Oikos is the official yogurt of the NFL!
Ok, so let me tell you why I love the Dannon Oikos Triple Zero. It’s available in 17 different flavors which is so important to me because I love trying all of the flavors to help switch up my snacks. I love that Dannon Oikos has 0g added sugar*, 0 artificial sweeteners, and 0g fat! It has 15g of protein per 5.3oz cup. I love this because it helps me enjoy a healthy snack while I’m working at home! That 15% of protein is 30% of your daily value!** That’s an amazing snack! I buy mine at Publix and it’s so easy to find because it’s right in the Yogurt/Dairy aisle.
I love just grabbing a Dannon Oikos Triple Zero out of the fridge and taking it to my desk. It’s a super quick and easy way to add some great nutrition into my day. Sometimes, though – I’m feeling a bit more creative (especially if it’s the holiday season). I like to add a spin to the yogurt for a fun snack recipe! Recently, my favorite way to enjoy the Dannon Oikos is by crumbling up some granola or gingerbread cookies and layering it in a jar with cut up pears and the Vanilla flavored Dannon Oikos Triple Zero. It’s seriously amazing and it really does help me start my day with a ton of protein.
Other fun recipes to make with the Dannon Oikos can include adding granola to the yogurt, or mixing in strawberries and blueberries (this would go great with the Triple Berry flavor!). Also, if you haven’t tried grapes mixed in with the Dannon Oikos Vanilla flavor, it’s incredible! I also love to top the yogurt with some toasted oats or even add in a little almond butter for a fun flavor. There are so many ways you can enjoy your Dannon Oikos Triple Zero but let me just tell you – it’s SO flavorful just by itself, too!
So, the next time you’re at Publix – swing by the Yogurt aisle to pick up some Dannon Oikos Triple Zero and fuel your hustle!
