Today I’m sharing an amazing shop with you. It’s called Sweet Peony Boutique! This shop is run by a super sweet lady named Jaime- she’s seriously AMAZING! She named her shop after her own “sweet P” – her cute little daughter! She started the shop because she was looking for the perfect You Are My Sunshine themed party shirt and couldn’t find the one she was looking for! So she decided to create her own! Sweet Peony Boutique is the perfect shop for unique onesies, t-shirts, and tanks! She also does custom work- just message her your idea and she will bring it to life!!

Sweet Peony Boutique has a few new summer designs that I can’t wait to share with you! Gracie received two of the designs to model. They are absolutely beautiful!!! The first one is a onsie (but can also be put on a tank or shirt). All the colors can also be customized! It says “loved, adored, cherished, blessed”. I just love love love this saying. Gracie truly is all of these. It’s so sweet.

Another new design from Sweet Peony Boutique is this AMAZING firefly wishes tank! This one can be customized with your child’s name in the mason jar! I just love how Jaime printed this shirt on a racerback tank. It’s so soft and just perfect for our hot Florida summer!

Not only does Sweet Peony Boutique make amazing shirts, she also makes CUSTOM mugs!!!!!! I love how Jaime turned my Graceful Mommy logo into this beautiful decal! I just loveeee drinking my coffee out of my new custom mug. TOO COOL!

Father’s Day Questions

Today is Father’s Day! And it’s a very special fathers day because it’s Dave’s FIRST one as a dad! So to celebrate today, Gracie’s daddy will be guest posting and answering some dad questions! All these answers are his :). They definitely made me laugh + smile.

How did it feel to hold your daughter for the FIRST time?

I was freaking out! I didn’t hit me at first, but it was amazing. Also, I was worried about Kari. And the doctors were nervous that I would faint and topple over.

What is your favorite part of being a dad?

Just seeing Gracie grow up and grow close to Kari and I. She may seem shy but Gracie’s personality really shines when it’s just us three playing on the ground in our house!

How have you changed since becoming a dad?

Everything has changed. It’s all about family.

What has been your funniest DAD moment?

One night I took out an little owl toy and Gracie started crying in LAUGHTER. We kept playing for an hour.

What is the easiest part of being a dad?

Having Kari. She’s a super trooper of a mom!!

What are you excited for in the future?

Too many to list, like Gracie taking her first steps, going to school, being able to speak to us in English 🙂 But secretly I want to go to the movie theaters when Gracie is around 3 or 4 to watch a cartoon or Disney/Pixar movie. And I can’t wait to ride bikes and have her sit in that bicycle trailer thing behind me.

Thank you Dave for being the best DADDY to Gracie. I absolutely melt every time I see you two together. The bond you have is adorable + unbreakable! And thanks for being the man behind most of Gracie’s photoshoots lol!!! We love you!

Bottle Pets Review!

Gracie lovessss stuffed animals! She loves cuddling and laying on them and lately talking to them. So cute! Gracie also loves her sippy cup. What do you get when you combine baby’s love for stuffed animals and love for a bottle or sippy cup? Bottle Pets!

Bottle Pets were created by two moms who wanted to make feeding time more fun. They invented these adorable bottle covers that are cuddle stuffed animals. The patented plush cover actually helps baby learn to hold their bottle and ease the transition to and from bottle-feeding. They come in tons of different animals- and they have an adorable new Eric Carle line!

Gracie is a breastfed baby, but has used Tommee Tippee bottles when we go out. I wish I knew about Bottle Pets earlier!! Gracie would’ve loved to use these with her bottle. But the really cool thing about Bottle Pets is that they can also be used with sippy cups!!

To use the Bottle Pet, just undo the velcro on the bottom on the animal. Slide the bottle or sippy cup up from the bottom and through the animals mouth. I had no problem at all getting the bottle through the Bottle Pet- in fact it’s easier than I thought. If you’re going to use a sippy cup, make sure it has no handles! You can usually remove the handles off most sippy cups.

Bottle Pets makes it so easy for baby to hold and drink from their bottle or sippy cup. Gracie has so much fun with hers! When there is no sippy cup in it, she still loves playing with hers! It’s super soft and makes for a great lovey.

Another great thing about using a Bottle Pet is that it acts like an insulator. So whether your trying to keep milk warm or water cold- using Bottle Pets will help!
